Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am until approximately 2 pm.
We offer tuition in the cutting and polishing of precious and semi precious gemstones, know as cabochons and faceting.
We also may teach the basics in silver smithing to set any polished gemstones that members may have.

We participate in Field Trips held throughout Tasmania, to fossick Tasmanian Rocks, Minerals, Gems and Fossils. Information for this is updated annually - Jan-March each year,
These trips are run by the Tasmanian Lapidary and Mineral Association, of which we are an affiliated member. Only current Affiliated Club members and invited guests are allowed to attend these trips.

We have been participants of The Children's University Australia with this, we offered during the school year, one Saturday per month, for School children to come along and have a go at making a pendant, bracelet, or pet rock.
We are no longer affiliated with the Childrens' University, but we do still invite children and their parents to come along on the Holidays through the school Year to visit us, and have a go at making something small, for a very small charge,
